I am an astronomer, educator and writer interested in exploring the larger cosmic perspective and its relationship to daily life, as well as what it means to live a full human life in an evolving cosmos.
 
I am passionate about discovering more about the universe we live in and offer classes, workshops, and other educational experiences across the country on many aspects of astronomy and the cosmic perspective.  Feel free to explore the site and thanks for visiting.
 
Some of the themes in my current teaching and research are:

  • Ways to embrace a larger perspective in order to live more sustainably on this planet
  • How science and spirituality can come together as complementary perspectives to help us lead full rich lives
  • The nature of creativity and novelty, both from a cosmic perspective and its relationship to personal experience and creative expression.
